AIR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
For a healthy and hygienic air
USING NATURE AS AN EXAMPLE
HIGH QUALITY OF AIR
EASY TO RETROFIT
FOR SUPPLY AND RETURN AIR
HIGHEST ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Active Oxygen (O3) for the installation
in main supply air and return air ducts.
For the cleaning of highly polluted
system components.
Inspired by the sun.
Negative ions for the treatment of the inner climate.
For the treatment of harmful gases, air pollutants and
fine dust. Following the example of a thunderstorm.
Reduction of harmful gases, air pollutants
like TVOC, germs, bacteria, odors,
formaldehyde, benzol, as well as fats and
aerosole.
Reduction of respirable concentrations of
particulates in rooms and facilities.
HYGIENE
Ever more improved hygiene standards increase the pressure to meet the requirements for the design of building ventilation systems. Almost consistent indoor air conditions offer ideal growth environments for various germs, fungi and bacteria. Even a cleaning of rooms in regular intervals is not sufficient to meet the requirements. The consequence is an above average high risk of infections in rooms with a high density and frequency of people. Active oxygen neutralizes germs, fungi, bacteria, odors, aerosols and oils by the decomposing of organic compounds (hydrocarbons) to O2, CO2 and H2O.
HEALTH
The relatively good outside air quality is massively reduced by the extreme load of germs and dust in the ventilation ducts. An exposed or polluted indoor climate does not only have a negative impact on peoples’ health, but also on their ability of performance and concentration. First signs for that are headache and insomnia. Air pollutants are particularly harmful to children and people suffering from allergy or asthmatics and are cancer-causing. So called negative Ions reduce particles and fine dust pollution of the indoor climate. They strengthen the immune system, improve performance and concentration ability, reduce stress and evidently produce healthy, fresh air without allergens.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
OPERATING EXPENDITURES
Up to 100% of the outside air is necessary to fulfill the hygienic conditions requirements of the indoor climate. The preparation of the outside air is complex and costly – by filtering, heating, cooling, humidifying. The result is a high energy expenditure and consumption with little effect. By optimum use of the air circulation and the improved quality of the indoor air climate, savings up to 70% of the energy expenditures for heating and up to 50% for cooling can be generated.
When using this technology the fresh air flow rate can be redesigned or adjusted. The air flow rate can be significantly reduced. In spite of this reduction, an excellent air quality is guaranteed. In this way the dimensions of ducts, ventilators, filters and heat exchangers can be reduced. These reductions lead to lower planning-, investment-, maintenance-, and – in particular – operating-expenditures. As a result you do get economic and efficient indoor ventilation systems.
